Black Friday 2012: A Family Tradition

Everyone has family traditions during Thanksgiving weekend, including shopping Black Friday 2012. The evening of Thanksgiving, my extended family gets together at my uncle’s house. The men play poker all night but before they begin they move the furniture around in the living room to create a huge open space. 2012 Black Friday : http://2012blackfridaydeals.org/ The women use that space to organize their Black Friday shopping trips. It’s quite a sight to see. We lay out all the best sales flyers with the bargains that we want to buy.

After it’s all laid out we choose where we are going and who is riding with whom. In more recent years, some stores have opened for Black Friday at midnight or even earlier. 2012 Cyber Monday : http://2012cybermonday.org/ Last Thanksgiving we put the children to bed, left the men to their poker game and headed to the stores to shop for bargains. We enjoy our family tradition of shopping on Black Friday every year.
